About Solray™ MT2 Nasal

A pre-formulated nasal research solution containing Melanotan II (MT2), a synthetic analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). MT2 has been investigated in preclinical and laboratory models for its interaction with melanocortin receptors, particularly MC1R and MC4R, including pigmentation pathways, melanogenesis, appetite signalling and wider melanocortin system activity.

Manufactured under strict quality control standards to support consistency, stability and reliability.

Storage & shelf life

Store refrigerated at 2–8°C and protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and temperature fluctuations. Keep the bottle tightly sealed when not in use.

When stored correctly, use within 8–12 weeks of opening.

Research usage guidelines

In laboratory environments, measured nasal spray administration protocols are established within specific research models. Researchers should follow their validated study design, recording spray volume, concentration, frequency and environmental variables.

Research areas of interest

Preclinical and laboratory investigations have explored MT2 in relation to:

  • Melanocortin receptor research: MC1R and MC4R receptor signalling.
  • Pigmentation & melanogenesis: melanin production and pigmentation-related cellular pathways.
  • UV response research models: melanocyte activity and pigmentation responses.
  • Appetite & energy regulation: melanocortin pathways involved in energy balance and feeding behaviour.
  • Melanocyte signalling: cellular signalling mechanisms in pigmentation biology.
  • Peptide delivery research: intranasal administration and peptide transport pathways.
Research use only

This product is supplied strictly for laboratory research purposes. It is not a medicine, supplement or cosmetic, and is not for human or animal use.
