About the components
MOTS-c is a 16-amino-acid mitochondrial-derived peptide studied for its involvement in metabolic homeostasis, AMPK signalling, glucose utilisation and cellular energy regulation.
NAD+ is an essential cellular coenzyme involved in mitochondrial energy production, redox balance and enzymes such as sirtuins and PARPs.
5-Amino-1MQ is a small-molecule compound investigated as an inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), with research into methylation metabolism and NAD+ availability.
Bacteriostatic Water is included as a laboratory reconstitution solution where required by an established research protocol.
Handling & storage
Each compound should be handled according to its individual research requirements. Where reconstitution is required, use the supplied bacteriostatic water or another validated laboratory solvent. Do not combine the components unless specifically required by an established research protocol.
Unopened: store according to each product label, sealed and protected from light, moisture and excessive heat. After reconstitution: store at 2–8°C where appropriate; for longer-term storage, aliquoting and freezing at −20°C may be appropriate. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
